Dallas Flash Team Roster - 2026 Season
2026 was a season that asked everything of the Dallas Flash, and this team answered. From the first match to the final point, this group continued to bring out the best in one another, competing with a belief in each other that went far beyond individual results. That connection translated into an 11-match winning streak, back-to-back event wins and a postseason run to the MLP Final Four in New York City.
Somewhere between the matches, the miles traveled and the moments shared along the way, these teammates became a family, one that played with joy, fought for each other and made the most of every opportunity they had together. The result was a season filled with remarkable pickleball, plenty of personality and the kind of memories that will last long after the final point.

JW Johnson
Known as the “Flickwizard,” JW Johnson has established himself as one of the most accomplished and distinctive players in professional pickleball, combining elite hand speed, precision and an unmistakably calm presence on court.
Originally from Pittsburg, Kansas, JW made history at just 19 years old as the youngest player to win a professional men’s singles title. His lightning-fast hands, exceptional control and signature flicks at the kitchen line have made him one of the sport’s elite competitors across singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
As a cornerstone of the Dallas Flash, JW helped lead the team to the 2024 MLP Championship and 2025 Mid-Season Championship. His quiet confidence, consistency and ability to deliver under pressure embody the identity of the Flash and have made him an integral part of the franchise.

Brooke Buckner
Brooke Buckner has established herself as one of professional pickleball’s fiercest competitors, bringing elite athleticism, power and an unwavering competitive edge to the court.
Before turning to pickleball, Brooke was a standout tennis player at the University of Michigan and later served as an assistant coach at UNC Charlotte. That high-level tennis background helped shape the discipline, work ethic and composure that have become defining parts of her professional pickleball career.
Known for her powerful baseline game, exceptional court coverage and ability to thrive under pressure, Brooke has become a formidable competitor across singles and doubles. She joined the Dallas Flash ahead of the 2026 season, bringing veteran experience, intensity and another dynamic presence to the Flash lineup.

Augustus “Augie” Ge
Augie Ge has emerged as one of professional pickleball’s most intelligent and composed competitors, combining elite court awareness, precision and a uniquely calculated approach to the game.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Augie played collegiate tennis at the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona before earning a master’s degree in biostatistics from Brown University. His analytical background translates naturally to the court, where the left-hander is known for smart positioning, disciplined shot selection and an ability to construct points with purpose.
A cornerstone of the Dallas Flash, Augie helped lead the team to the 2024 MLP Championship and 2025 Mid-Season Championship. His steady presence, versatility and ability to perform in high-pressure moments have made him an integral part of the Flash and its championship history.

Danni-Elle Townsend
Australian standout Danni-Elle Townsend has quickly emerged as one of professional pickleball’s most exciting international talents, bringing fearless energy, elite paddle skills and an unmistakable competitive presence to the court.
Before pickleball, Danni-Elle represented Australia internationally in table tennis, developing the quick hands, reactions and instincts that now define her game. After establishing herself as a force in Australia and Asia, she was selected No. 3 overall in the 2026 MLP Draft for her first season in Major League Pickleball.
Danni-Elle joined the Dallas Flash during the 2026 season and quickly became an impact player for the team. Her breakout year earned her MLP’s 2026 Most Improved Player award, cementing her arrival as one of the league’s rising stars and an exciting part of the Flash’s future.

Ivan Jakovljevic
Ivan Jakovljevic brings a rare combination of professional athletic experience, explosive movement and relentless competitiveness to the pickleball court.
Originally from Croatia, Ivan came to the United States to pursue professional soccer before discovering pickleball while teaching tennis in Texas. His background in elite athletics helped shape a dynamic, physical style of play defined by exceptional court coverage, quick reactions and the instincts of a lifelong competitor.
A left-handed threat across singles, doubles and mixed doubles, Ivan has established himself on the professional tour through his athleticism, aggressive shot-making and fearless style of play. As a member of the Dallas Flash, he brings power, versatility and an unmistakable competitive energy to the team.

Alix Truong
Alix Truong has emerged as one of professional pickleball’s most exciting young talents, pairing relentless competitiveness with quick hands, explosive athleticism and a fearless style of play.
Growing up in Northern Virginia, Alix developed her foundation in tennis before discovering pickleball alongside her family. She committed herself fully to the sport at a young age, turning that decision into a professional career that has taken her across the U.S. and around the world. Her breakout performances in both domestic and international competition earned her recognition as the 2025 Women’s Breakout Player of the Year.
Known for her powerful two-handed backhand, speed and fiery competitive edge, Alix has established herself as a formidable presence in both women’s and mixed doubles. As a member of the Dallas Flash, she brings energy, versatility and an unwavering drive to compete at the highest level.
